Description:
Department requires strong work ethic and willingness to help teammates.
Positive attitude is essential for success in a fast-paced environment.
Charge nurse available on each shift.
No clinical involvement required.
Average number of cases per day is 9, including adults and pediatrics.
Common cases include General, Client, and Ortho.
Electronic medical records system used is Meditech.
Weekend and holiday on-call requirements are expected.
Unit orientation consists of 5 shifts.
Candidates must adhere to radius rule of 50 miles.
Additional time off will not be approved after initial requests.
Hospital can cancel up to 4 shifts during a 13-week assignment.
Charting system utilized is MEDITECH.
BSN is not required for this position.
