We are seeking a dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team at an industrial manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and repairing various systems and equipment, including hydraulics, electrical, pneumatics, robots, and powder coating systems. Additionally, the technician will handle general facility maintenance tasks to ensure smooth and efficient operations.

Essential Functions:

• Basic Tools Able to safely perform maintenance tasks using basic hand tools and basic power tools
• Basic Mechanical Able to safely and proficiently perform basic mechanical troubleshooting and rebuild tasks
• Basic Electrical Able to safely and proficiently perform basic troubleshooting and movement of electrical circuits
• Basic Construction - Able to safely and proficiently perform painting, dry wall, framing, and interior trim work tasks
• Hoists Responsible for diagnosing/maintaining/installing production hoists in a timely fashion
• Welders - Responsible for diagnosing/maintaining/installing welding equipment in a timely fashion
• Saws - Responsible for diagnosing/maintaining/installing production band saw equipment in a timely fashion
• Lighting Able to safely and proficiently perform basic troubleshooting and installation of lighting systems and lighting fixtures throughout the facility
• Plumbing Able to safely and proficiently perform basic troubleshooting and installation of plumbing systems and plumbing fixtures throughout the facility
• Mechanical Systems Able to safely and proficiently maintain/troubleshoot HVAC, filtration, and pneumatic systems
• Fork/Aerial Lifts Able to safely and proficiently operate fork trucks and aerial lifts
• Doors Responsible for powering down, raising, and securing overhead doors
• Grounds Responsible for safe and proficient operation of plowing, salting, mowing, and trimming equipment

Working Conditions: Fast paced role with working conditions indoor and outdoor. Repetitive use of hands to operate tools and equipment. On your feet/active role operating aerial and forklifts.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Basic Fabrication Ability to weld or experience with basic metal fabrication
• Rigging Experience rigging and moving equipment with a boom
• Multi Meter Experience with a meter or other electrical test equipment
• Schematics Ability to read electrical, hydraulic, or pneumatic prints
• Preventative Maintenance - Experience with Industrial Machinery/Equipment Repair
• Troubleshooting industrial machinery
• Mechanical Education/Experience Troubleshooting pneumatic and hydraulic systems
• Electrical Education/Experience Troubleshooting 3 Phase high voltage. Motors Education/Experience Troubleshooting 3 phase, Single phase and DC motors
• CNC/Robotics Education/Experience Troubleshooting CNC machinery
• PLC/HMI - Education/Experience Troubleshooting programmable logic systems

Competencies:

• Ability to interpret manuals and technical drawings

Supervisory Responsibility: This role does not have any supervisory responsibility upon hiring.

Physical Demands:

• While performing the duties of this job, the team member is regularly required to talk and hear.
• This position is very active while performing this job the team member is regularly standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, balancing, reaching, handling, and climbing all day.
• The team member may have to lift and/or move items over 50 pounds.
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
• In addition, the team member may be exposed to dust, fumes, gases, noise, heat, cold, and wet work while performing job duties. This position requires personal protective equipment.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work: This is a full-time hourly position, and hours of work and days are based upon the need to support operations and production. Some Saturdays will be mandatory.

Travel: No travel will be required.

Preferred Education and Experience: Manufacturing/industry experience. Management/Leadership experience.
