The Nurse Scientist collaborates with the Director of Nursing Research and shared governance councils to ensure an organizational culture that encourages and supports the development of research topics, the pursuit of funding as appropriate, the conduct of the research project, and the dissemination of findings. The Nurse Scientist seeks opportunities to collaborate on research studies within and outside Moffitt Cancer Center.
