We are looking for a Member Services Representative to support members with everyday banking needs while delivering a welcoming and detail-oriented service experience in Jacksonville, Florida. This long-term contract position is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced financial services setting, handling transactions accurately, and building strong member relationships. The person in this role will assist with account services, respond to inquiries, and help connect members with products that match their financial goals.

Responsibilities:

• Engage members in meaningful conversations to understand their financial needs and recommend appropriate products or services.

• Process a variety of routine financial transactions, including deposits, payments, transfers, and withdrawals, with a high level of accuracy.

• Open new accounts, update existing account information, and complete maintenance requests in accordance with established guidelines.

• Investigate account questions, resolve service issues, and provide clear information about available credit union services.

• Balance and manage an assigned cash drawer each day while maintaining required cash limits and completing reconciliation on time.

• Support branch operations by recording night and mail deposits, assisting with dual-control procedures, and following security protocols.

• Identify unusual activity or questionable documentation and take appropriate steps to help prevent fraud and protect member accounts.

• Contribute to branch growth by promoting financial products, making member outreach calls, and referring loan opportunities to the appropriate teams.

• Provide additional branch support as needed, including assisting with self-assessments, outreach efforts, translation support, and other assigned projects.

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 1 year of experience in a financial institution or a customer-facing service environment preferred.
• Previous experience handling cash and completing transactions accurately is preferred.
• Strong customer service and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a high-volume setting.
• Comfortable using computers for data entry, typing, and navigating business applications such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational ability, and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule that may include evenings, weekends, and travel to other branch locations when needed.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment and support the mission of serving diverse communities.
