Registered Nurse - Labor & Delivery and Postpartum Location Wilson, NC Assignment Duration This is a 13-week contract position. Schedule Shift: 19:00 - 07:00 (Night) for Labor & Delivery; 07:00 - 19:00 (Day) for OB. Job Description We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our team in the Labor & Delivery and Postpartum departments. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in maternal care, including labor and delivery, and the ability to manage a diverse patient population. Responsibilities Provide nursing care for laboring mothers and newborns during delivery and postpartum recovery. Monitor fetal heart rates and manage labor medications as necessary. Handle postpartum care and patient education for new families. Coordinate with healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive patient care. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Minimum 2 years of experience in Labor & Delivery nursing. Current RN licensure and certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP. Completed fetal monitoring class within the last 2 years.
