SAMPLE PREP TECHNICIAN - Sparks, NV PAY: $21.00 per hour

The Sample Preparation Technician is responsible for preparing client samples for analysis and ensuring that samples are prepared in a timely matter. Carry out Sample Preparation procedures in accordance with documented SOP’s or recognized standard reference methods.- Report any deviation from documented procedures to the Sample Preparation Supervisor. - Inform the Sample Preparation Supervisor of any nonconforming event related to client samples, or other departmental operations.- Act in a safe and professional manner and wear appropriate attire including the required personal protective equipment.- Ensure proper functioning of Sample Prep operations by:o Monitoring the performance of the equipment.o Ensuring adequate inventory of supplies. o Practicing good housekeeping.- TRAINING PROGRAMS:- WHIMS. EDUCATION:- High School Diploma or equivalent.
