Job Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient assessments, including comprehensive physical exams and detailed medical history reviews
• Assist in the evaluation and diagnosis of surgical conditions through careful interpretation of imaging studies and laboratory results
• Collaborate intimately with surgeons to develop and implement individualized surgical treatment plans
• Provide integral intraoperative support by prepping operating rooms, ensuring optimal patient positioning, and passing surgical instruments during procedures
• Deliver outstanding pre- and post-operative care encompassing medication management, wound care, medication education, and discharge planning

Educational Requirements

• Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Clinical rotation completion with a significant surgical emphasis is highly preferred

Required Certifications

• Current and unrestricted PA-C certification
• BLS and ACLS certification required
• State licensure (or eligibility) as a Physician Assistant
