Location and Position Details UCHealth Anschutz Inpatient Pavilion, Aurora, CO Department: Radiology Diagnostic / Work Schedule: Full Time, 72.00 hours per pay period (2 weeks). Shift: Nights. Pay: $28.38 - $39.74 per hour, dependent on experience. This onsite role does not offer a hybrid or remote option. Responsibilities Review patient history, physician's orders, and perform scheduling. Educate patients regarding procedures, equipment, and exam to ensure understanding and cooperation. Prepare and administer contrast media and/or medications within scope of practice, when ordered. Monitor patient condition continually and report/respond to changes as appropriate. Prepare equipment and supplies, selecting appropriate exposure factors and imaging parameters. Implement safety standards and perform quality control procedures on equipment. Troubleshoot, resolve, and/or report equipment malfunctions as necessary. Position patients and perform imaging procedures. Analyze results and identify quality issues, taking appropriate action to resolve them. Enter and transmit images. May work with Radiology students. Apply critical thinking, decisive judgment, and work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment. Requirements Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program. Registered as a Radiologic Technologist (R) by ARRT. ARRT Specialty certification(s) as required. State licensure if required by law. BLS or CPR certification (American Heart Association or American Red Cross) with card in hand before start date; card must remain valid for at least 60 days of hire.
