Software Engineer, Infrastructure

Salary: $211,000 - 251,000 per year Requirements:

• We look for 5-7+ years of hands-on software engineering experience working on highly technical products.
• We value a strong drive to build automation, tooling, and platform capabilities, with an emphasis on maintainable system design.
• We expect experience with cloud providers such as AWS, GCP, or Azure, plus infrastructure-as-code tools, ideally Terraform.
• We require practical experience with CI/CD pipelines, release management, and container orchestration such as Docker or Kubernetes.
• We seek familiarity with observability platforms and tooling such as Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, or OpenTelemetry.
• We expect experience responding to incidents and operating distributed systems in production.
• We require a degree in Computer Science or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
• Bonus experience includes production work with LLMs and machine learning models.
• Bonus experience also includes distributed systems, SaaS at scale, and agentic architecture.
• Familiarity with security and authentication protocols such as OAuth, SSO, and mTLS is a plus.
• Previous experience in a fast-moving startup or platform/infrastructure-focused team is preferred.

• We design, build, and maintain the core systems that power our AI platform.
• We ensure the reliability, scalability, and performance of our platform and LLM inference serving as traffic grows.
• We build and maintain cloud infrastructure with Terraform to support secure, reproducible, and scalable environments.
• We create a self-serve infrastructure platform that allows the broader engineering team to deploy and operate services.
• We own and improve CI/CD pipelines and release management to enable fast, dependable deployments.
• We architect and run distributed systems using distributed databases, retrieval systems, and ML models.
• We develop core data-serving abstractions and security features, including SSO, RBAC, and authentication controls.
• We integrate our stack with enterprise customer environments in scalable and maintainable ways.
• We strengthen observability through metrics, logging, and tracing to improve visibility into platform health and performance.
• We lead and contribute to incident management through monitoring, root cause analysis, and postmortems.
