You will be part of a collaborative, physician-led team that works as one and puts patients at the center of everything we do. **Position Highlights:*** ## Full Time: 40 Hours/Week* ## Hours: Monday-Friday 8:30am - 5:00pm; hours may vary depending on MD schedules* ## Location: Winfield## Benefits:* ## Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision benefits that include healthcare navigation assistance.* ## Access to a mental health benefit at no cost.* ## Employer provided life and disability insurance.* ## $5,250 Tuition Reimbursement per year.* ## Immediate 401(k) match.* ## 40 hours paid volunteer time off.* ## A culture committed to community engagement and social impact.* ## Up to 12 weeks parental leave at 100% pay and a financial benefit for adoption and surrogacy for non-physician team members once eligibility requirements are met.## ## Responsibilities:* ## Greet patients and assist with registration, scheduling, measuring vital signs and collecting health history* ## Provide support to physicians during examinations, minor office surgeries, dressing changes and other first aid procedures* ## Certified medical assistants may assist with immunizations or injections* ## Assist patients with prescription requests, address pharmacy callbacks, provider orders, update charting and filing* ## Conduct onsite lab testing to include: EKG, pulmonary function, blood glucose and urine pregnancy tests* ## Maintains clean, warm and inviting examination rooms for patient visits* ## Provide excellent customer service exemplifying Duly Health and Care CARE values* ## Some travel to assist other local clinics may be required## ## Qualifications* ## High school diploma or GED required* ## Completion of Medical Assistant educational program or higher education courses in health sciences or related experience required* ## Several of our clinical specialties including Internal Medicine, Pediatrics, and Family Practice, require active medical assistant certification through one of the following: + ## American Medical Technologists (AMT) + ## National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT) + ## National Healthcareer Association (NHA) + ## American Registry of Medical Assistants (ARMA) + ## American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA)* ## CPR certification or willing to become certified upon hire required* ## May require phlebotomy certification to be completed within 90 days of hire* ## Prior experience working as an MA, CMA, CNA, EMT or 2 years of prior experience working in a medical office assisting with patient care## ## The compensation for this role includes a base pay range of $21.43-23.63 for a Medical Assistant; Certified or Registered Medical Assistant the base pay range is $22.97-24.57, with the actual pay determined by factors such as skills, experience, education, certifications, geographic location, and internal equity.
