Typical duties include, but are not limited to:

• Ability to work independently, setting priorities, organizing work and meeting deadlines.
• Ability to work effectively with others as a team member in shared responsibility for service provision.
• Ability to effectively communicate orally and through written communication with a wide variety of people at all levels.
• Ability to gather and analyze facts and data, draw conclusions, and devise practical solutions to difficult problems and issues.
• Knowledge of pertinent laws, regulatory, requirements, directives, policies and procedures concerning benefits administered state, federal or locally, for example contracting, Federal acquisition, and VR&E benefits.
• Knowledge of computer hardware and software development and systems to prepare reports and analyses for presentation to management.

Promotion Potential:

The selectee may be promoted to the full performance level without further competition when all regulatory, qualification, and performance requirements are met. Selection at a lower grade level does not guarantee promotion to the full performance level. The full performance level of this position is GS-12.

Monday - Friday 8:00 am - 4:30 pm

Telework:

This position is eligible for situational (ad hoc) telework only. The selectee is required to report to the official duty station each scheduled workday. Telework may be approved only on a case-by-case basis with supervisory approval. Routine or recurring telework is not authorized for this position.
