Banquet HousemanResponsible for maintaining exceptional service standards, room presentation and guest satisfaction. They help with handling, storing and maintaining equipment and supplies to prevent loss and damage.Essential Functions:Checks with Banquet Manager / Banquet Captain when coming on duty for specific instructions for the current function and section assignment.Responsible for the work schedule assigned week to week.Independently sets up banquet rooms to Club and Resort standards.Pre-arranges all equipment, china and supplies for events as needed.Assist with transportation of supplies, equipment, food and beverage to various venues across property.Ensures all A/V needs are met and set up has been tested prior to event.Assists with last minute client requests and changes.Performs necessary clean-up and sanitation activities for the food and beverage storage facilities.Keeps food and beverage product, equipment and/or storage facilities clean and orderly.Thoroughly cleans all event/meeting rooms before and after banquet events including dusting all woodwork, taking out trash and vacuuming as needed.Reports hazardous conditions or broken equipment to the Engineering Department immediately. May require typing, CRT, record keeping, or word processing.
