Schedule: Variable shifts based on census; patient ratio 1:5 with ancillary support; heaviest volume mid-week

• 22-bed orthopedic post-surgical unit specializing in spine and joint procedures
• EMR: Meditech
• Equipment includes PCA pumps, telemetry boxes, IV pumps, and vital sign machines
• No on-call requirements
• Float opportunities within the health system to telemetry and related units
• Collaborative team environment with 36 experienced staff members

Requirements:

• Active RN license in Texas
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Medical-Surgical nursing experience required
• Orthopedic and/or Progressive Care Unit (PCU) experience strongly preferred
• Ability to work assigned shifts with minimal schedule changes
