You'll be part of a team prioritizing direct student support, assessment, and special education services across six available positions.
Key Qualifications:
- Active state licensure or certification as a School Psychologist.
- Demonstrated experience providing psychological services in K-5 or elementary school settings.
- Proficient in conducting psychoeducational assessments, skill groups, and SPED evaluations.
- Strong collaboration skills to work effectively with teachers, administrators, and families.
- Commitment to on-site presence—virtual work is not available for this position.
- Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving abilities.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive psychological services to support students’ academic, emotional, and behavioral success.
- Conduct assessments, interpret results, and contribute to Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Work with special education teams and general education teachers to implement interventions and provide guidance.
- Lead small skill groups to bolster social, emotional, and academic development.
- Serve as a consultant for student support services, including crisis intervention and prevention programs.
- Maintain thorough, confidential records in accordance with regulatory standards.
- Partner with school families and staff to develop effective support strategies.
This role offers a consistent weekday schedule with 37.5 hours each week, affording you a dedicated connection to your assigned elementary school community. You'll have the chance to work alongside other psychologists, fostering professional growth and collaborative problem-solving.
