We are looking for a dependable, professional, and experienced Dental Assistant to join our dental team!

The ideal candidate will have  hands-on periodontal experience , strong clinical skills, excellent patient communication, and the ability to work well as part of a team.

Position Requirements

• Minimum 2+ years of dental assisting experience
• Perio experience required
• Knowledge of periodontal procedures and treatment
• Experience assisting with scaling/root planing and periodontal maintenance
• Familiarity with dental instruments, sterilization, and infection-control protocols
• Ability to take dental X-rays
• Comfortable assisting during surgical and routine dental procedures
• Knowledge of dental charting and treatment documentation
• Dentrix experience is a plus
• Excellent communication and patient-service skills
• Reliable, punctual, and dependable
• Professional appearance and demeanor
• Ability to multitask and stay organized
• Must be a team player with a positive attitude

Responsibilities

• Chairside assisting
• Periodontal procedures and maintenance
• Patient preparation and education
• Taking dental X-rays
• Instrument setup and sterilization
• Maintaining operatory cleanliness and infection-control standards
• Updating patient charts
• Preparing materials and instruments for procedures
• Supporting the dentist and hygiene team
• Providing a welcoming and professional experience for patients

We are a friendly, patient-focused dental practice seeking a reliable dental professional who is proficient in Dentrix software and can support clinical and periodontal operations as needed. Looking to fill a full time position, Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday 8:30 a.m. -5:00 p.m, Friday 8:30 a.m.-4:00 pm, and Saturday 8:30 a.m. -1:00 p.m.. with a one hour lunch break Monday, Tuesday Thursday and Friday.
