Rockville Technology, LLC. is a family owned, fast-paced machining services and fabrication company focused on creation nonferrous machine parts primarily for the US Aerospace and Defense Industry. We're looking to bring on a Quality Engineer at our location in Vernon, CT.

The Position:

Reporting to the Quality Manager, in this role you will be responsible for:

• Support all outgoing QualityInspection requirements (End of line inspection);
• Collects data from the checkingfixture according to the control plan;
• Identify potential causes forprocess variation;
• Develop CMM programs forcompleted assemblies and component parts;
• Assist in the performance ofgauge studies;
• Inspection of close toleranceparts, using CMM programs and precision measuring equipment such ascalipers, micrometers, etc.
• Develop programs from blueprints,CAD models and operation sheets;
• Ability to work with operators,engineering and varying and changing shop schedules;
• Support 1st piece Quality(buy-off) Inspection of all in-process components and sub-assemblies;
• Responsible for all incomingSupplier Documentation (review and storage);
• Proactively supports the ISOprocess approach to quality management and the Rockville Technology MRPsystem;
• Support continuous improvement(CI) activities.
• Generates non-conforming materialreports and effectively communicates these both verbally and in writtenform.
• Calibrates shop and personaltools.

About You:

• High School Diploma or GEDequivalent is required; Associate's in Engineering or related field ispreferred;
• Effectively communicate via verbal,handwritten and electronic documents.
• Strong attention to detail;
• Working knowledge of MicrosoftOutlook and ability to create documents, reports and briefing materials inMicrosoft Office Word, Excel and PowerPoint;
• Strong problem-solving skills;
• Ability to work effectively in ateam environment as well as independently;
• Demonstrates strong timemanagement skills with the ability to effectively coordinate multipleprojects;
• Ability to use technologyeffectively and efficiently to manage workload;
• Conceptual Skills, VerbalCommunication, Attention to Detail, Judgment;
• Ability to handle multiple taskswith tight deadlines;
• Demonstrates a professional andpositive attitude as well as a passion for continuous improvement;
• 3+ years of CMM programmingexperience using PCDMIS or CAMEO software in a high-speed machiningenvironment.
• Must be a USCitizen. Must comply with EAR regulations and site SSA requirements.
