What You’ll Do
As a GMC Sales Consultant, you’ll be responsible for generating sales of new and pre-owned vehicles through multiple channels, including online inquiries, phone calls, walk-in traffic, trade shows, and your professional network. You’ll guide customers through the entire buying journey—from first contact to post-sale follow-up—while delivering a top-tier experience every step of the way.

• Deliver engaging, hands-on vehicle demonstrations that showcase the latest technology and features
• Build and continuously grow your product knowledge to confidently present benefits and solutions
• Guide customers through financing options, warranties, and service plans
• Manage and grow your pipeline using CRM tools, ensuring accurate and timely customer data
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients
• Stay up to date on inventory, promotions, and industry trends
• Represent the dealership at trade shows and community events to generate leads
• Follow up after the sale to ensure satisfaction and build long-term loyalty
• Collaborate with your team and leadership to achieve individual and dealership goals
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities
• Work closely with your team to hit goals and celebrate wins together
• Continuously grow through training, coaching, and development opportunities

Education & Experience

• High school diploma or GED required
• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record required
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite required
• Previous sales or customer service experience preferred (automotive experience is a plus, but not required)
