Maintenance & Spare Parts Material Master Coordinator

Boulder, Colorado | 6-month Contract | Pay: $36–$46/hour + Completion Bonus

Monday-Friday 8am-5pm/ Onsite

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Maintenance & Spare Parts Material Master Coordinator to support maintenance documentation, spare parts management, material master data cleanup, and ERP/SAP S/4 migration activities. This role will work closely with maintenance, warehouse, purchasing, and supply chain teams to ensure accurate material master records, inventory readiness, and MRP data integrity.

Key Responsibilities

Maintenance Documentation Support

• Save and organize maintenance long-text documentation from extraction spreadsheets into PDF format and maintain files on designated network locations.
• Support maintenance documentation control and data organization activities.
• Coordinate with maintenance personnel and stakeholders to ensure documentation accuracy and completeness.

Spare Parts & Material Master Management

• Identify active spare part materials for migration into SAP S/4 systems.
• Classify materials based on usage status including:
• Active materials
• Order-as-needed materials
• Obsolete materials
• GMP-related materials
• Identify and resolve duplicate material records to improve master data accuracy and reporting consistency.
• Validate and maintain Units of Measure (UoMs) for spare parts and inventory records.
• Extract and establish bin location information from size and dimension fields for CPC and CPE setup.
• Analyze historical usage data to support min/max inventory planning where applicable.
• Review purchasing information records including MRP types, lead times, and replenishment settings.
• Coordinate physical inventory activities prior to MRP launch to minimize overstocking and overbuying risks.
• Continuously review and evaluate newly created part numbers and material records for accuracy and compliance.
• Support material master governance, reporting, and ERP data validation activities.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, material master data, maintenance support, or supply chain environments preferred.
• Experience working with ERP systems such as SAP, ECC, or S/4HANA preferred.
• Strong understanding of inventory management, spare parts administration, and MRP concepts.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and data management activities.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage large datasets and maintain accurate documentation.
• Effective communication and coordination skills across cross-functional teams.
