Overview UI Services Representative / Employment Program Representative (EPR) – a 12‑month limited‑term position located in Riverside, CA. The role involves handling UI claims in a call‑center environment while maintaining compliance with state laws and policies. Key Responsibilities Assist customers in filing unemployment insurance claims via phone. Determine benefit eligibility and process claims using electronic systems. Provide accurate information about program policies and benefits. Maintain confidentiality and protect customers' sensitive information. Manage calls efficiently and turn negative situations into positive outcomes. Contribute to process improvement through feedback and suggestions. Travel and/or overtime may be required to meet service demands. Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training is preferred. Proficiency with computers and the internet; high‑speed home internet required for telework. Prior customer‑service experience, preferably in a call‑center or public‑service setting. Basic knowledge of unemployment insurance procedures desirable. Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve shared goals. Desirable Qualifications Writing, typing, and communication skills. Strong analytical skills. Good computer usage skills. Minimum two years of customer‑service experience. Working Conditions Position is not eligible for visa sponsorship. Expected hours are 8:00 am – 5:00 pm, Monday‑Friday. Hybrid telework may be available; employees must report to the Riverside headquarters and maintain a suitable home office. Benefits & Compensation Monthly salary ranges from $4,055.00 to $6,310.00 (classification dependent). 12‑month limited‑term contract with potential for extension or permanency.
