Tribute Eatery & Bar in Coralville, IA is looking for Line Cooks to join our kitchen team.

Our Line Cooks help keep the kitchen prepared and service moving throughout the day. From prepping ingredients and getting stations ready to preparing menu items during service, you’ll work alongside a team focused on consistency, quality, and creating a great experience for our Guests. We’re looking for reliable people who communicate well, stay organized, and enjoy working in a fast-paced kitchen.

Tribute Eatery & Bar is a neighborhood restaurant known for elevated comfort food, handcrafted cocktails, and a welcoming dining experience. Our kitchen team plays an important role in bringing that experience to life by preparing quality food, supporting one another, and keeping the kitchen clean, organized, and ready for service.

Pay

$15 - $22 per hour based on experience.

Schedule & Availability

• Part-time positions available
• Daytime availability is needed
• Weekend availability is needed

What You’ll Do

• Prep ingredients and recipes for upcoming service
• Set up your station with the food, equipment, and supplies needed for the shift
• Prepare menu items using grills, fryers, sauté stations, broilers, and other kitchen equipment
• Follow established recipes, portions, and preparation standards
• Help maintain consistent food quality and presentation throughout service
• Follow proper procedures for labeling, rotating, handling, and storing food
• Maintain a clean and organized station, equipment, and surrounding work areas
• Restock ingredients and supplies and complete assigned cleaning, inventory, and food-storage tasks
• Stay in communication with kitchen leadership and teammates during service
• Assist with prep, line, and other kitchen responsibilities as needed
• Complete other duties as assigned

What We’re Looking For

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Previous line cook, prep cook, or other restaurant kitchen experience is preferred
• Comfortable working at a steady pace in a busy restaurant kitchen
• Reliable and able to contribute as part of a team
• Good communication and organizational skills
• Willingness to learn, take direction, and help where needed
• Ability to stand and move throughout the kitchen for extended periods
• Ability to regularly lift and carry up to 40 pounds
