Job Summary:
Labor and Delivery (L&D) Nursing in an inpatient birth setting. The registered nurse is responsible for the delivery of safe patient care utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation. Provides direct patient care within the scope of practice, guiding patient and family education and supervising other nursing personnel. Must be able to respond quickly and accurately to changes in patient condition and/or response to treatment, ensuring a safe environment for mothers and newborns during antepartum and postpartum periods.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid RN license, certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), educational achievement of a nursing degree, and zero years of experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in Labor and Delivery nursing is a plus.
• Additional Information: The position involves direct patient care in the birth unit, requiring quick assessment and intervention skills to maintain patient safety and care quality.
