Maintenance Technician: Orangeville, Illinois
Our client in Orangeville, Illinois, is a leading production facility seeking motivated individuals to join their expanding team. As a Maintenance Technician, you will work closely with the Maintenance Manager to ensure projects and daily tasks are completed efficiently. The ideal candidate has a strong mechanical aptitude and a broad understanding of manufacturing and operations maintenance.
Responsibilities of the Maintenance Technician:
- Be able to work in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment.
- Be able to work independently as well as in a team setting.
- Generate parts orders as needed.
- Prioritize tasks to ensure maximum production efficiencies.
- Communicate with Maintenance Manager regarding tasks and observations.
- Proactive responses for general repairs.
- Perform manual repairs when needed.
- Sanitation duties per the Master Sanitation Schedule.
- Preventative Maintenance as assigned.
Maintenance Technician Requirements and Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Fabrication and welding experience is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of electrical systems (220V and 440V).
- Plumbing knowledge.
- Experience with hydraulics and motor assembly/disassembly.
- Maintenance experience, preferably in a food manufacturing environment.
- Ability to troubleshoot and perform preventative maintenance.
- Experience operating skid steers and forklifts preferred.
Pay for Maintenance Technician: $30+/hour.
