Senior Casualty Claims Specialist

Providing complete claim management and loss mitigation services, the remote Senior Casualty Claims Specialist will independently investigate, evaluate, and manage Primary and Excess Casualty claims while supporting the Underwriting Business Unit through stakeholder communication and marketing efforts. Key responsibilities: Evaluates, reserves, and manages casualty claims to resolution, including oversight of litigation phases Communicates regularly with insureds, brokers, and stakeholders regarding claim development and strategy Documents claim files thoroughly and adheres to reserving and reporting protocols to avoid unexpected outcomes Required qualifications: Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience; Juris Doctorate degree preferred Minimum of six years of end-to-end Casualty claims handling experience Strong knowledge of Primary Casualty, Umbrella, and Excess Casualty claims Proven negotiation skills and ability to drive optimal claim outcomes Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
