Geospatial Analyst II
Virtual Vocations Inc
To support a multidisciplinary consulting team, the full-time salaried Geospatial Analyst II will analyze topographic lidar data, create automated classification algorithms, and produce digital mapping products, with opportunities for remote work based on experience. Key responsibilities Manage the initial processing and data classification of topographic and bathymetric lidar projects Create scripts, models, and macros across multiple sensor platforms for data processing Perform quality assurance and quality control on processed data to meet accuracy and qualitative standards Required qualifications Bachelor's degree in Geography, GIS, or a related field 3+ years of experience in the GIS/Remote Sensing field or equivalent education and experience Experience in elevation data processing and remote sensing QA/QC In-depth knowledge of ESRI's ArcGIS products and various raster and vector data types Proficiency in basic computer applications, especially MS Office Virtual Vocations Inc
