The Montessori Learning Center (MLC) is seeking a passionate, dedicated, and nurturing Lead Teacher for our 3–6-year-old Early Childhood classroom . MLC has been serving children and families in Wilmington for over 40 years and is committed to fostering independence, curiosity, and a lifelong love of learning through authentic Montessori education. Position Responsibilities Lead and manage a Montessori classroom for children ages 3–6. Prepare and maintain a beautiful, organized Montessori environment. Develop individualized learning plans that support each child’s growth. Foster independence, confidence, and respect within the classroom community. Maintain positive communication with families and staff. Observe, assess, and document student progress. Qualifications Montessori Early Childhood (3–6) certification preferred. Experience working in a Montessori classroom. Delaware First Early Childhood qualifications preferred. Strong classroom management and communication skills.
