Job Title

Registered Nurse – Operating Room

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | 4x10-Hour Shifts | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct perioperative nursing care to patients within an acute care operating room setting
• Perform scrub and/or circulating duties as required during surgical procedures
• Accurately document patient care activities using Epic electronic health record system
• Float within the hospital or to nearby affiliate facilities as needed to meet staffing demands
• Participate in required onboarding modules and maintain annual compliance training
• Adhere to facility dress code and all applicable clinical protocols and standards of care

Required Qualifications

• Active and valid California RN license (pending license accepted)
• Minimum of 1 year of Operating Room nursing experience
• Willingness to work 2 out of 3 major holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's
• Ability to float to sister facilities within the region as assigned
• 2 professional references covering at least 1 year of experience within the last 3 years
• Must reside outside of a 50-mile radius of the facility to qualify at standard contract terms

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience welcomed; first-time travelers are encouraged to apply
• Proficiency with Epic charting system strongly preferred
• Experience in an acute care facility setting
