Staff Pharmacist | Fort Washakie, Wyoming

A 13-week contract opportunity is available for an experienced Pharmacist to provide essential coverage at an 80-bed community hospital in Lander, WY. This role is ideal for a motivated professional ready to travel and step into a busy hospital setting, supporting patient care by ensuring optimal medication management.


Location:

• Lander, Wyoming (near Fort Washakie)

Schedule:

• Day shifts

Key Responsibilities:

• Verify medication orders accurately and efficiently
• Supervise pharmacy technicians to maintain high standards of practice
• Collaborate directly with physicians and nurses to optimize pharmacologic care
• Apply pharmacokinetics principles to individualize patient therapy and ensure safety

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Proven hospital pharmacy experience, preferably in a community hospital setting
• Active Wyoming pharmacist license preferred; however, assistance with obtaining a temporary license can be provided
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and as a part of a clinical team
