Shift: 8:00 AM - 8:30 PM

Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU). In this role, you will provide exceptional care to patients recovering from surgery, ensuring their comfort and safety as they awaken from anesthesia.

Responsibilities

• Monitor patient vital signs and assess recovery progress.
• Administer medications and provide patient education as needed.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Document all patient care activities accurately in the electronic medical record (EMR).
• Respond to patient emergencies and provide necessary interventions.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current RN license in the state of Texas.
• ACLS certification is mandatory.
• Critical Care ICU and PACU experience required.
• Preferred: Cardiac and orthopedic/neuro experience.
