Executive Director of Cardiovascular Services About the Company Reputable regional healthcare system Industry Hospital & Health Care Type Non Profit Founded 1976 Employees 1001-5000 About the Role The Company is in search of an Executive Director of Cardiovascular Services to lead the strategic development and operational management of its cardiovascular service line. The successful candidate will be tasked with shaping and expanding these services within the regional health system, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and alignment with organizational goals. This leadership role encompasses oversight of various departments, including the Cardiac Cath Lab, Cardiac Pre/Post Unit, Non-Invasive Radiology, Cardiology Clinics, and Cardiac Rehab. The Executive Director will be instrumental in service line expansion, developing and implementing systems to support growth, and building an effective leadership structure. Ideal candidates for the Executive Director position will have a BSN, with an MSN or other Master’s degree preferred, and an active RN license. A strategic mindset, along with the ability to mentor, grow, and develop teams, is essential. The role requires a leader with proven experience in cardiovascular services, including a Cath Lab, and a background in clinical management. Familiarity with service line operations and a focus on developing SOPs and standardizing processes are also key. While not mandatory, certifications such as Certified Cardiovascular Registered Nurse (CVRN), Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN), AACVPR certification, or a healthcare executive credential (ACHE/FACHE) are preferred.
