Hauck Enterprises is hiring a Cemetery Maintenance Foreman to lead daily grounds operations at Macon Memorial Park in Macon, Georgia. You will run a small crew, keep the property respectful and service-ready, and handle the layout and equipment work that families count on. This is a hands-on leadership job for someone who can mow and maintain grounds, operate heavy equipment, and hold the team to a high standard.

What you will do

• Lead and supervise a small grounds crew through daily cemetery maintenance
• Plan and assign work so mowing, trimming, edging, weed control, debris removal, and general upkeep stay on schedule
• Layout burial sites using maps, string lines, and a tape measure
• Operate a backhoe and tractor for digging, grading, and site preparation
• Perform and oversee headstone installation and service requests
• Prioritize work orders and keep the park ready for families and services
• Maintain equipment and report problems quickly
• Enforce safety standards and treat the property, crew, and families with respect

What you will bring (required)

• Proven backhoe and tractor experience
• Strong landscape or grounds maintenance background
• Prior supervisor or lead experience
• Valid driver's license
• Ability to pass a background check and drug test
• Dependability, a strong work ethic, and a respectful attitude
• Ability to read maps, use measuring tools, and follow precise layout instructions

Preferred

• Cemetery or funeral-home grounds experience
• Headstone installation experience
• Experience training or scheduling a small crew
