Speech Language Pathologist - Outpatient Neuro Setting

The Speech Language Pathologist will evaluate all assigned patients and develop, implement, and modify treatment plans in accordance with the patient's needs and physician direction. This role is set in an outpatient neuro setting and requires preferred experience in that area or at least a clinical rotation.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of assigned patients.
• Utilize clinical reasoning to develop appropriate treatment plans and goals.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to address barriers to discharge.
• Effectively manage individual, concurrent, and group treatment sessions.
• Complete medical record documentation accurately and timely.
• Participate in student programs when assigned, providing supervision and evaluation.
• Actively pursue professional development and growth.
• Adhere to discipline-specific State Practice Act and maintain professional licensure.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current state licensure or eligibility for state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist.
• Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech Language Pathology from the American Speech-Language & Hearing Association.
• BLS Certification.
• One or more years of clinical experience.
• FEES Certified.

Schedule

This position follows a 5x8.0 schedule.

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.
