Job Details Location: Sacramento, CA 95829 Position Type: Full Time Education Level: Associates Degree Salary Range: $36.00 - $44.00 per hour Job Shift: Any Job Category: Nursing – Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN); Licensed Psychiatric Technician (LPT) Facility Overview Sierra Health and Wellness uses evidence‑based methods to restore families, relationships, and self‑worth. Our inpatient facility houses 16 clients, offering specialized and personalized care in a newly remodeled setting on 4 private acres of land. Positions Available Per diem Benefits (Full‑time) Competitive pay 10 days paid vacation 5 holidays / 5 sick days per year Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits with no monthly premium for the employee (eligible after 60 days) 401(k) with a company match of up to 3% (eligible after 1 year / 1,000 hours) Accident & Life Insurance (eligible after 60 days) Responsibilities Supervise other licensed and non‑licensed staff in the day‑to‑day delivery of patient care. Prepare and review medical records and nurses' notes to evaluate the resident's physical and emotional status. Provide nursing care according to the Physician's orders, care plans, established standards, policies, and procedures. Prepare and monitor patient‑administered medications as ordered by the physician in accordance with nursing standards and facility policies. Sign, date, and perform all charting, record‑keeping, and care plans in accordance with established policies and procedures. Provide outstanding individualized resident care. Qualifications Current Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) or Licensed Psychiatric Technician (LPT). Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word and e‑mail; use of EMR system preferred. Ability to coordinate with professionals from diverse backgrounds and work at distinct levels. Commitment to the philosophy of recovery and continuity of the program and of consideration and respect for clients. Customer‑service oriented, professional attitude. Ability to undergo a drug screen, TB, and physical. Health screen, drug screen, and TB test requirements. Work Authorization / Security Clearance Requirements Valid Driver’s License.
