RN – Cath Lab

Location: Anchorage, AK | Acute Care

Schedule / Job Type: Contract | Days, 4×10-Hour Shifts (7:00 AM – 5:00 PM) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care in a Cardiac Cath Lab setting within a Magnet-designated, Level II Trauma acute care hospital
• Participate in on-call rotation, including approximately one on-call day per week and every 4th/5th weekend (Friday 6:00 PM through Monday 7:30 AM)
• Work approximately one Saturday per month as part of the standard scheduled shift rotation
• Float within scope of practice to EP or IR as needed to meet facility staffing requirements
• Document patient care accurately using Epic electronic health records
• Commit to working 3 of 5 designated holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day

Required Qualifications:

• Active Alaska RN license required; pending Alaska license considered, but license must be in hand for offer processing
• Minimum 2 years of Cardiac Cath Lab experience; at least 1 year required
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• Willingness and ability to participate in on-call and weekend rotation as outlined
• Must have a permanent address at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible; local candidates are not accepted

Preferred Experience / Skills:

• Experience in Electrophysiology (EP) or Interventional Radiology (IR)
• Familiarity with Epic electronic health records system
• Prior travel nursing experience in an acute care or specialty lab environment
