Construction Senior Project Manager

Overview Senior Project Manager responsible for leading cross-functional teams to manage multiple construction and renovation projects across a large geographic area for enterprise, consumer goods, and/or services clients. This role oversees projects from initiation through completion, coordinating design professionals, contractors, and stakeholders to meet established goals. Responsibilities include tracking project financials, maintaining milestones, providing status updates, and supporting continuous process improvement initiatives. Responsibilities Hands-on management and oversight of multiple projects, including renovations, building infrastructure, large remodels, and ground-up new construction. Concurrently manage various phases of projects across locations—from initiation through design, planning, client approval, permit issuance, construction, and closeout. Provide end-to-end accountability for project delivery and lead an entire project team of architects, engineers, contractors, property management, operating engineers, and client stakeholders. Provide weekly project activity updates to Team Lead regarding schedule, risks, budget status, and cash flow using JLL technology. Develop risk management plans and lead teams through work authorization processes to avoid impacts in critical environments or equipment. Participate in client decision-making by providing data, formal recommendations, and outlining risks for review and approval. Oversee and prepare project documentation for all phases, including charters, due diligence, budgets, schedules, minutes, funding requests, status reports, punch lists, and special reports in required formats. Manage vendors to ensure compliance with project policies and procedures and close out projects within 90 days after completion. Minimum Requirements Bachelor’s degree in engineering, architecture, construction management, or related field. 10–15 years of project management experience covering all aspects of design and construction. Experience with scope development, budgeting, scheduling, risk management, and contract negotiations. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, project scheduling software, and web-based applications. Familiarity with architectural drawings, furniture/fixtures/equipment specifications, design and space planning concepts, and construction costs and schedules. Preferred Qualifications Architecture, Engineering, or Project Management certification. LEED Certification. PMP Certification. Travel and Location Travel up to 60% of the time throughout the designated portfolio. Location: San Diego, CA. This is a remote position with travel required for projects in the region. Mileage reimbursement or car rental option for extended travel. Compensation and Benefits Estimated compensation: 94,400.00 – 145,100.00 USD per year. Final compensation determined by qualifications, location, and market conditions.
