Consultation- Liaison Psychiatrist Location: Worcester, MA Department: Department of Psychiatry Schedule: Full-Time Salary Range: $263,000 - $270,000 (final offer may vary based on candidate experience, skills, qualifications, and internal equity considerations). Key Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive psychiatric assessments of patients in medical surgical units and the emergency room to evaluate for psychiatric diagnoses, risk factors, and treatment needs. Collaborate with medical and surgical teams to develop integrated treatment plans that address both medical and psychiatric concerns. Provide evidence-based psychiatric interventions, including medication management, psychotherapy, and crisis intervention, as appropriate. Educate medical and nursing staff on psychiatric issues, including recognition of symptoms, appropriate interventions, and strategies for managing psychiatric emergencies. Participate in multidisciplinary rounds and case conferences to discuss complex cases and coordinate care. Document all clinical encounters thoroughly and accurately in the Epic electronic medical record system. Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical and legal standards governing psychiatric practice. Stay abreast of developments in the field of consultation‑liaison psychiatry through continuing education and professional development activities. Optional participation in weekday evening and weekend shifts provides additional compensation. Qualifications: Must hold an MD or DO degree and qualify for a Massachusetts license. Academic Newborn Hospitalist Location: Worcester & Framingham, MA Facility: UMass Memorial Health Department: Pediatrics Schedule: Full-Time Salary Range: $180,000 - $220,000 (final offer may vary based on candidate experience, skills, qualifications, and internal equity considerations). Key Responsibilities: Provide comprehensive medical care for infants in a 22‑bed Continuing Care Nursery (CCN) within a 49‑bed Level III NICU at UMass Memorial Medical Center, as well as a 28‑bed postpartum unit and 12‑bed Level 1B Special Care Nursery at Metrowest Medical Center in Framingham, MA. Attend high‑risk deliveries as part of a multidisciplinary team with neonatology support and collaboration. Perform neonatal procedures including intubation, central line placement, lumbar puncture, and thoracentesis. Conduct inpatient antenatal consultations addressing prematurity, neonatal opioid withdrawal syndrome (NOWS), and maternal medical conditions impacting neonatal care. Provide bedside teaching and mentorship to medical trainees including medical students, residents, and advanced practice providers. Qualifications: Board‑certified or board‑eligible in Pediatrics.
