Collections Representative

Working in a hybrid schedule with 2 in-office days and 3 work-from-home days, the full-time Collections Representative will manage high-volume calls from patients and third-party agents, resolve billing issues, and collect outstanding balances while adhering to customer service standards. Key responsibilities: Answer and manage calls in a high-volume call center environment, maintaining professionalism during financial discussions Investigate and resolve billing problems, ensuring timely collection of outstanding balances from patients and insurers Initiate contact with patients for payment arrangements, process payments, and handle billing inquiries and disputes Required qualifications: High School Diploma / GED or equivalent work experience Must be 18 years of age or older 2+ years of experience with third-party billing practices Knowledge of medical terminology Ability to work full-time with flexibility in scheduling during normal business hours
