Job Details Travel Physical Therapist – Fairbanks, Alaska. Duration: 16 weeks. Shift: 8‑hour night shifts, 40 hours per week. Employment type: Travel. Responsibilities Perform evaluation, development, and execution of a plan of care for a variety of patient populations in the acute care setting. Oversee supervising PTAs and support staff (therapy technicians). Bill within the facility following guidelines. Understand and comply with the PT board's rules and regulations in the state. Interface with medical center personnel and physicians to ensure team‑focused plan of care. Understand and utilize adaptive equipment. Evaluate, create and modify plan of care based on patient's condition. Use medical center computer systems for daily tasks. Provide timely and accurate documentation following state and insurance guidelines. Qualifications Preferred: Minimum 1 year of experience; Exceptional candidates may qualify with 6 months of experience. New graduates encouraged to apply. BLS certification and state‑specific licensing in Alaska. Physically capable of standing and walking for extended periods and bending, leaning, or stooping without difficulty.
