Opportunity Details A hospital in eastern North Carolina has an opening for an OB Hospitalist to provide 24-hour locum tenens coverage. Opportunity Overview: Schedule: 24-hour shifts Setting: Inpatient Average Daily Volume: 50 patients Average Daily Admissions: 10 per day, 5 per night Average Monthly Surgical Cases: 10 per surgeon Duties: ED consults, GYN service, emergent GYN surgeries, and labor and delivery Procedures Required: Cesarean delivery, D&C (obstetric and gynecologic), diagnostic and operative laparoscopy, urgent and emergent gynecologic cases Team Structure: 27 MDs, 9 APPs EMR: Epic Must be board-certified Paid travel & expenses During your time off, browse local boutiques and farmers markets, enjoy kayaking or fishing along the river, or take a relaxing trip to nearby coastal destinations.
