Requirements:

• At least two years of recent welding experience; four years required for Welder II consideration
• MIG welding experience required
• Combination pipe-welding experience highly preferred
• Ability to read blueprints, shop drawings, and welding symbols
• Knowledge of fit-up, machine settings, and welding procedure specifications
• Ability to use tape measures, levels, and basic welding math
• Valid driver's license
• Must live in or near Katy, TX
• Availability for overtime and possible transfer to 2nd shift
• Formal welding training preferred; equivalent experience considered

Job Duties:

• Perform MIG, TIG, or stick welding based on qualifications
• Grind, cut, tack, fit, and prepare components
• Assemble and install fabricated components
• Inspect welds for quality and specification compliance
• Set up and maintain welding equipment
• Complete timecards and job documentation accurately
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Follow all safety procedures and production requirements
