Must-Have:

• Advanced knowledge of fetal abnormalities and their diagnosis
• Proficient in performing scans of various anatomical areas and identifying cross-sectional human anatomy, distinguishing normal from abnormal, to establish initial evaluation of sonograms
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and patient service skills to work effectively with physicians, patients, and other staff members
• Basic computer proficiency (e.g., email, electronic medical records)

Description: This position is for a sonographer specializing in Client Fetal Medicine. The focus is on high-risk pregnancy patients. The patient-to-sonographer ratio is 1:1. The work environment includes a team of medical assistants, a receptionist, registered nurses, resource nurses, MFM physicians, and other sonographers. Technology used includes electronic medical records and ultrasound machines. This role emphasizes collaboration in a team environment caring for high-risk pregnant patients. Knowledge and ability to work with advanced technology in sonography are essential for this role. Candidates will be supported by medical assistants and other staff members. Effective communication and thoroughness are crucial for patient care.
