Position Summary

We are looking for a dedicated and skilled Sonography / Ultrasound Specialist to become an integral member of our imaging team. In this role, you will leverage cutting-edge ultrasound technology to perform diagnostic imaging, work closely alongside a collaborative group of medical professionals, and deliver clarity and reassurance through your work.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct a range of ultrasound procedures encompassing abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
• Prioritize patient comfort and safety during examinations while explaining each procedure in an empathetic manner
• Work in partnership with radiologists and referring physicians to ensure the highest quality of diagnostic imaging
• Maintain and operate imaging technology, promptly addressing any technical issues
• Document procedures accurately and manage patient records within our electronic medical systems
• Stay informed about advancements in ultrasound imaging techniques and clinical best practices

Educational Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related discipline
• Preferred completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program

Required Certifications

• Current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or a recognized equivalent
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is advantageous

Essential Skills

• Proficient in sonographic imaging techniques and patient positioning
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities
