Registered Nurse Medical Surgical

$1468.80/week - Job Summary: Provide comprehensive nursing care to orthopedic and trauma patients in a fast-paced Med/Surg unit. Ensure patient safety, comfort, and recovery through clinical expertise and teamwork. Responsibilities: Assess patient conditions and develop individualized care plans. Administer medications, including Heparin and Protonix drips, and monitor therapeutic responses. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and discharge planning. Document patient progress, treatments, and procedures accurately in the EMR system. Respond promptly to patient needs and escalate concerns as necessary. Maintain compliance with unit policies, dress code, and safety standards. Qualifications: Hold a valid RN license in Texas or applicable state. Possess at least 1 year of med/surg nursing experience, preferably with ortho and trauma patients. Demonstrate proficiency with Meditech EMR or similar electronic health record systems. Exhibit strong team collaboration and communication skills. Must be flexible to work 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM shifts, including weekends and on-call commitments.
