TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Med/Surg / Tele RN in Maryville, Tennessee, 37804!

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: MS/Tele Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 1 year in specialty License: Active RN license Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS Must-Have: - EPIC experience Description: Shift: 3x12 Nights (18:45 - 07:15). Floating is required if needed to other units based on skill set. Weekend coverage required every other weekend (may change based on need). Medication system used is Omnicell. Must have at least 1 year of experience in specialty. Required certificates include ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS. Active RN license must be held. Prefer candidates with teaching and community hospital experience. First-time travelers are not accepted. Charge experience is preferred. Patient ratio experience of 6 is appreciated. Charting system experience is preferred in a community hospital setting. Skills required include: - Accessing and managing ports - Blood product administration - Central line blood draw - Feeding tube care and management - IV starting and maintenance - Telemetry - Total joint replacement experience Unit Details: Patient age groups include adults and geriatrics. Daily census is approximately 15-20. The unit has 30 beds. Staffing support includes various teams such as IV, Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, and more. Floating to other units may be necessary based on census and needs. Modules for training are required and will be billable upon completion. Pre-assignment testing is required for all RNs. Competencies must be demonstrated for tasks performed in floating assignments. Time spent on training modules is eligible for reimbursement up to a specified limit.
