Quantum Rehabilitation and Nursing located in Middle Island, NY is looking for a Full-time Housekeeper/Laundry Aide. Excellent Benefits! The Laundry & Linen Aide is responsible to collect, process, launder and deliver linens to resident rooms. Responsibilities:
- Wash, dry, pack and label all linens/resident clothing
- Fold clean linens/resident clothing after washing and drying.
- Keep on record of all linen/resident clothing on a daily basis
- Clean the washing machine and dryers on a daily basis
- Perform the day-to-day activities of the Housekeeping department in accordance with State, Federal, Health and Company standards.
- Must follow instructions by the Director of Housekeeping Services, to ensure that the facility is maintained in a safe manner.
- Clean/polish furnishings, fixtures, ledges, room heating/cooling units, in restrooms, recreational areas, etc., daily as instructed.
- Discard waste/trash in proper containers and reline trash receptacles with a plastic liner.
- Must be able to lift 40-50 pounds.
- Ensure that work/cleaning schedules are followed as closely as possible
