School Bus Sales Account Manager

SCHOOL BUS ACCOUNT MANAGER
Location: Remote in Florida with monthly on-site meetings in Tampa, FL 
Schedule: Full-time
Compensation: $75k-$100k base + Commission ($120k OTE) 
Experience: Previous sales experience in automotive, transportation, heavy truck, or related fields preferred

POSITION SUMMARY
Our client is seeking a customer-focused School Bus Account Manager to maintain and grow existing accounts, develop new business opportunities, and serve as a trusted sales consultant. The ideal candidate is a team player who prioritizes customer satisfaction, builds strong client relationships, and effectively manages an assigned territory.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Professionally represent the company and its manufacturers as a reliable sales consultant.
• Maintain, support, and grow existing customer accounts.
• Serve as a liaison between company service support and customers as needed.
• Identify sales opportunities and conduct sales calls with prospective customers within the assigned territory.
• Gather and provide account information and competitor data for the assigned area.
• Maintain accurate customer information and account details in the company CRM system.
• Work under the general direction of the Sales Manager.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Previous sales experience in automotive, transportation, heavy truck, or a related field preferred.
• Familiarity with the transportation industry.
• Strong territory management skills.
• Detail-oriented, with the ability to manage tasks and respond to customer needs in a timely manner.
• Ability to interact positively, constructively, and professionally with existing customers and accounts.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Experience working with public-sector and government clients is a plus.
