OTM Lead Technical Analyst (On-site - Cleveland, Ohio)

Optomi, in partnership with one of the world's largest paint and coatings companies, is seeking an OTM Lead Technical Analyst for their Cleveland, Ohio location. Candidates must have strong experience working hands on with building and configuring Oracle Transportation Management (OTM). This OTM Lead Technical Analyst will ideally have experience with OTM capabilities including shipment planning, rate management, carrier management, agents/automation, tendering/auto-tender process, and transportation planning and optimization. A strong candidate will have a background in transportation/logistics and the ability to understand how OTM connects with other enterprise systems.

Experience of the right candidate:

• Strong, hands-on experience configuring and building Oracle Transportation Management (OTM)—not just using it from an end-user perspective.
• Deep background in transportation management, logistics, and real-world supply chain processes.
• Proven technical experience with OTM capabilities, including shipment planning, rate management, carrier management, tendering/auto-tender, agents/automation, and transportation optimization.
• Experience integrating OTM with external enterprise systems (Oracle Fusion, SAP, or WMS platforms preferred).
• Demonstrated track record of troubleshooting and engineering solutions for complex business and carrier workflows.
• Familiarity with the end-to-end order flow from order management to warehouse (WMS) to transportation management.

Responsibilities of the right candidate:

• Serve as the technical lead and subject matter expert (SME) for the company’s OTM deployment and ongoing expansion.
• Design, build, and maintain OTM configurations, including agent workflows, rate structures, carrier profiles, and automated tendering processes.
• Architect and support technical integrations connecting OTM to enterprise ERP systems and warehouse management platforms.
• Troubleshoot complex transportation scenarios, diagnose system issues, and develop technical solutions based on business requirements.
• Collaborate closely with leadership to establish OTM best practices, optimize platform performance, and build out long-term internal OTM capabilities.
