This role will help fuel a high-volume content engine for some of the most iconic brands in food.This is a hybrid role based in Camden, NJ.What You Will Do…Partner with the Copywriter to lead concept development across high-, mid-, and low-priority projects (including photoshoot creative direction, video storyboards, social concepts, sizzle scripts, etc.)Translate brand strategy, consumer insights, and trends into visually compelling, platform-native ideasSet the visual direction, look and feel, and storytelling approach for campaigns, content series, launches, and always-on contentLeverage AI and emerging tools to explore visual directions, accelerate concept development, and prototype ideas more efficientlyHelp shape the Studio C design operation, including freelancer management, workflow development, and ways of working in an evolving creative tool landscapeGuide and inspire Production Designer and freelancer talent, ensuring concepts translate seamlessly into scalable executionBring a strong POV on emerging social trends, formats, commerce content, and creative best practicesPresent concepts clearly and persuasively to internal stakeholders and leadershipContribute to rapid-turn content needsParticipate in brainstorms and bring proactive, insight-driven ideas to the tableWho You Will Work With…Associate Director, Creative + Content StrategyCopywriter (paired concept partner)Sr. Production DesignerStudio C Production & Test Kitchen teamsConsumer Experience teams (Social, CE, Digital UX, Omni, Digital Shelf, PR, Insights) and Brand teamsFreelancer talentWhat You Bring to the Table… (Must Have)Bachelor’s degree in Design, Advertising, Visual Communications, or related field8+ years of experience in creative roles (Art Director, Designer, or similar), preferably within CPG, agency, in-house studio, or digital commerce environmentsStrong portfolio demonstrating both conceptual thinking and high-level design execution across campaigns, digital content, social, ecommerce, packaging, and branded experiencesExpert-level proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) with strong understanding of typography, layout, composition, visual hierarchy, color, and art direction fundamentalsStrong design sensibility with the ability to create visually compelling, premium, and platform-native content systems across multiple channels and formatsDemonstrated ability to lead projects from concept through execution while maintaining high creative standards and attention to detailAbility to balance strategic thinking with hands-on design development and executional excellenceDeep understanding of storytelling, branding, and consumer engagement across digital-first and social content environmentsExperience directing photo/video shoots, developing storyboards, and guiding visual storytelling from ideation through post-productionStrong presentation, communication, and stakeholder management skillsExperience mentoring designers, freelancers, and cross-functional creative teams while providing thoughtful creative direction and feedbackExperience using AI-enabled creative tools to support concepting, visual exploration, ideation, and workflow efficiency, with curiosity around emerging technologies and evolving creative processesIt Would Be Great if You Have… (Nice to Have)Experience in high-volume content environments or in-house studiosMotion/video direction experienceCompensation and Benefits:The target base salary range for this full-time, salaried position is between $138,000-$189,800Individual base pay depends on work location and additional factors such as experience, job-related skills, and relevant education or training. Total pay may include other forms of compensation. In addition, we offer competitive health, dental, 401k and wellness benefits beginning on the first day of employment.
