Globally Headquartered in Japan with a network of 67 group companies in 17 countries and regions, the Group brings its extensive range of products to customers all over the world.Toyoda Gosei North America (headquartered in Troy, MI) has an opening for a Quality Specialist in the Quality Assurance department. The Quality Specialist functions with a moderate degree of autonomy, and is responsible for providing professional level quality analysis and support for Toyoda Gosei (TG) North America Corporation (TGNA) and TGNA Manufacturing Companies (AMCs).Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesEnable the effectiveness of the Quality group through on-site plant visits and analysis of quality requirements and conditionsProvide quality reporting, data analysis, identify trends, and follow up with NAMC's regarding corrective actionGather, manage, analyze, and interpret NAMC quality data for global TG reporting requirementsOrganize, lead through example behavior, other members of Delivery/Quality teamConduct on-site plant visits to deliver required training material in classroom settingProvide any necessary back-up assistance for weekly quality managementContinue to learn and develop strength in identifying quality issues and promoting corrective actionSupport multiple Manufacturing Locations such as, but not limited to; Missouri, Kentucky, IndianaDrive optimization by being actively engaged in continuous improvement effortsFunction in a highly collaborative environment, where flexibility and teamwork are crucial to organizational successConduct Audits regarding Safety Critical components and ProcessesRequired Education, Experience, and Skills Certifications and Education• Minimum of Associates degree or equivalent years of relevant experience is requiredExperience• 1 to 4 years of experience in Quality or related field is requiredPhysical Requirements• The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
