FWS - Theater Student Assistant

Position Description The Theater Program is in the Social Science and Creative Arts (SS/CA) Division Office at Skyline College. The student will assist the Theater Events Manager in supporting various aspects of the theater events program. Primary Duties Reports directly to the Theater Manager. Assists with bi-annual musical and other musical concerts and division events throughout the semester. Assists with all aspects of theater work, including set design and buildout. Performs other related duties as required or assigned. Requirements Read and understand technical instructions in English Able to lift and carry large materials and equipment (~40 lbs) Strong sense of punctuality and meeting deadlines. Ability to easily adapt to the changing needs of the division and a fast-paced work environment. This is a Federal Work Study position and applicants must be eligible. Preferred Qualifications Theater, Art or Music Major, or has taken relevant courses. Interest in learning theater work. Flexibility with work schedule.
