A client of ours is seeking a Senior Project Manager / Practice Leader - Water and Wastewater for a full-time leadership opportunity in McAllen, Texas. This position is ideal for a licensed Texas Professional Engineer with extensive municipal water and wastewater experience, established relationships with Texas municipalities and public agencies, and a proven ability to develop business and lead successful project delivery. The selected candidate will have the autonomy and executive support to build the firm's regional practice, strengthen client partnerships, pursue new opportunities, oversee technical quality, and develop a high-performing team.

Location: Houston, Texas
Salary: $150K-$210K Base + Performance Bonus

Worksite: Onsite

What You Will Lead

• Growth and expansion of municipal water and wastewater services in McAllen
• Client relationships with City of Houston departments, MUDs, and public agencies
• Proposal development and interview leadership
• Winning and delivering two to three significant municipal projects annually
• Technical oversight, QA/QC, and team mentorship
• Development of regional strategy and long-term client partnerships

What You Bring

• B.S. in Civil Engineering from an ABET accredited university
• Texas Professional Engineer license
• 10+ years of municipal water and wastewater experience
• Direct experience with comparable Texas municipalities
• Proven success in client development and proposal leadership
• Strong knowledge of water distribution, wastewater collection, lift stations, force mains, storage, and treatment systems
• Ability to lead teams and deliver projects on schedule and within budget
